League Information

2012 Winter Leagues Underway

Leagues are at the same times as before: Sunday and Tuesday, 6:30pm & 8:30pm. Each league is 2 hours long and requires your help to setup and put away equipment (help requires no special skills, we'll teach you everything!)

Leagues are open to all, if you haven't curled before--signup for a league and take our pre-season lessons to get acquainted.

Stone Setting - Ice Prep and Absences/Substitutions

Stone Setting
Teams have been assigned times to set stones at 12pm on specific days throughout the season - Log in! to see your team's date.
Setup
Before play can begin at 6:30pm Sunday and 7:30pm Tuesday, volunteers are needed at least 30 minutes ahead of time to handle ice preparation (pebbling/nipping), move equipment into place (stones/hacks/brooms) and make sure everyone is ready to go. Every little bit helps! Log in! to sign up.
Cleanup Sunday
the 8:30pm Novice teams are expected to help take down all equipment and pack everything up prior to leaving.

Cleanup Tuesday
After play team members that did not do Noon rock setting are responsible for putting away the equipment Log in! and sign up.
Absence
If you cannot curl notify your Skip and Draw Coordinator immediately, and Log in! and register your absence.
Substituting
If you want to substitute in a different League to gain more experience, or just to play more Log in! and sign up. The Draw Coordinator will assign you to a team.
